asuma dies!
my fascination (aka addiction) for this anime began four years ago. after watching the first episode, i found myself craving for one episode to the next. more than the powers and the battle feats, i find this anime replete with deep philosophical insights and psychological understanding of the human person. it brings to light our capacity to change, to surpass our limitations, and to see the goodness in each person.
now on its shippuuden ongoing sequel, i admit i am one of those fanatics who would wait for the latest episodes via cyberspace.
my apologies for the spoiler, but i had to share that asuma sarutobi, son of the third holage, mentor of shikamaru, choji and ino, dies in episodes 78-79.
