what to let go or how to let go
there are a lot of things i need to let go...
1.) pride
2.) sensitivity
3.) pressures
4.) expectations of others
5.) my need to accomplish
6.) my need to control
7.) my triggers -- emotional outbursts and inatantaneous reactions towards unpleasant things
8.) my attachments -- material and people
9.) people who give me pseudo-consolation
10.) my over-analytic mind
11.) my too critical observations
12.) my escape hatches
13.) my worries
14.) that fear of being left alone
15.) that fear of being betrayed
16.) that fear that my mind creates and yet never comes
17.) my competitiveness
18.) my arrogance
19.) my indifference treatment to people who have caused me pain and to people I don't simply like at all
20.) myself
and there are still more...
i could still enumerate over a hundred.
but i realized that the most essential point to focus my energy on is that fact, the very act of letting go.
and still i don't find it easy.
this is really a folly -- to complain about the excruciating pain in your palm and yet never let go the burning coal fully grasped by your hand.
why is that?
God answers, "FORGIVE!"
and it's all up to me now...
